Been eating here for yrs.. So I have my go to favorite's!! The fish sandwich, the wings, and a few others..

Tasty catfish sandwich with spiced french fries. Friendly staff and customers. 4 pool tables. Jukebox 5 for 6 songs, etc

Y’all this is a restaurant that treats you like family AND feeds you like it too.Our server met us at the door, spoke candidly with us and even took time when we were indecisive about what we wanted. Marquita, the restaurant volunteer, was a pleasure to chat with and the atmosphere.... It’s vintage. The fireplace in the secondary room was built in the 1930’s still has the cast iron Dutch oven and kettle on the stove rack; seafaring ships in miniature abound. If you are old enough to remember the greasy spoons from the 80’s this will take you back. If you’ve never had the experience it might not be for you but the food was yummy and the portion sizes enough to fill you up or for take home. Try them and remember what restaurants used to be like. BTW try the Humongous Catfish sandwich, my mom was IMPRESSED and it’s hard to do that.

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place, seriously blown away. If you love older things and a really good meal it's the place to go! Everything was fresh and my husband finished his plate so quickly, the drinks were good and the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. Will go again 100% and bring others here to show them. Hidden gem!!

Love, love, LOVE this place! Love the owners! I might be biased because they are my friends and I’ve known them for years, but you really should check this place out! The decor is unbelievable!! Atmosphere is a cool vibe. You definitely need to stop in for a drinky poo, or maybe on karaoke night! Or...catch some live entertainment. This place is excellent. Make it a point to visit. 5 stars from me!

Really cozy little spot in Hampton. The food was outstanding, the beer was delicious (and at the perfect temp), and I enjoyed the pool hall. Will definitely be back.

The White Oak Lodge is a hidden gem that my fiancee and I stumbled upon, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The decor gives off a rustic charm that’s both cozy and inviting. For dinner, I ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful, gooey cheese and tender chicken on the inside. My fiancee opted for the chicken tenders, and they did not disappoint either. The tenders were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. What really stood out to us was the excellent service. The staff was friendly and attentive, checking in just the right amount to make sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. You can really tell this is a family-owned place where the team takes pride in what they do. Although we didn’t get a chance to catch the live music, the ambiance was perfect for a relaxed evening out. We’re already planning our next visit and can’t wait to experience more of what The White Oak Lodge has to offer. If you’re looking for great food, a welcoming environment, and top-notch service, this is definitely the place to go!

If you’re looking for a good place to shoot some games of pool and eat an appetizer and drink a beer or maybe you’re just wanting to sit down and watch Monday night football and eat a burger then definitely come to the oaks! The owner (Jack) even does free pool during certain hours/days! Great decorations and amazing people. The bartender makes perfect drinks and every beverage comes in a frosted glass! Definitely consider the oaks because you’ll never find anything like it!
